Cromaglass
Wastewater Treatment Systems
Cromaglass Corporation manufactures a variety of wastewater treatment systems, which are designed as Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) systems. Cromaglass offers
18 treatment models that provide consistent, effective treatment of wastewater to less than U.S. EPA secondary treatment standards of 30mg/L BOD and 30mg/L TSS.
The Cromaglass Waste Water Treatment systems
are constructed of a strong, lightweight, corrosion-resistent fiberglass tank. The innovative
SBR design utilizes submersible pumps for aeration, mixing and effluent discharge to provide an effective wastewater treatment solution.
The submersible pump design concept allows for an extremely quiet operation of
the unit. The SBR design controls influent surges while still providing
quality effluent.
Cromaglass systems can also be designed for denitrificaton (biological nutrient removal) and recycling for irrigation or other non-potable water uses.
This patented process provides total nitrogen removal rates of
over 90% with out chemical additives, the Cromaglass Wastewater Treatment and Recycling Process is setting the standard for denitrification.
Cromaglass systems can be operated with state-of-the-art
computer control units and remote monitoring systems.
In addition to their wastewater treatment systems, Cromaglass Corporation also offers ancillary equipment to complete your treatment requirements.

PIRANA
Septic systems fail. And one of the reasons they fail is the
biomat build-up in the disposal field. When systems failed before now you
had only two options-both very costly. You could repair or replace the
system. The Pirana system now gives you a third, and better option.
Microbial remediation the
alternative to repair or replacement. The Pirana is the only effective
system
for microbial remediation. Once it is installed in an existing or new
tank, and the air pump begins circulating the effluent, the processing of waste
begins. But it doesn't stop there. The microbes migrate to the drain field
where they continue to reproduce and do their cleanup job. 25,000 gallons
a day are aerated and circulated through the septic tank because of the
continuing aeration. There is 150 square feet of dense remediating
bacterial colonies within the chamber that the waste continually passes over.
Digestion of the effluent is so complete it reduces, if not entirely
eliminating, particles that would clog your system. The aerobic process
also significantly reduces the nitrate levels. Sludge levels are
drastically reduced and tank pumping minimized.
Who needs a Pirana System:
Single Family Homes are ideal candidates for Pirana sytems.
Installing a Pirana system will improve longevity of a new or existing
septic system. The Pirana is a great way to protect your property
value.
Restaurants that use septic tanks are also perfect for the Pirana
system. The Pirana digests fats, oils and greases just as
it digests human and animal waste products.
